Trinigourmet’s Amazon Hotlist for September 2010
Wow! Can you believe it’s mid-October already? Maybe it’s just me but I swear time accelerates as each calendar year draws to a close! I’m a little bit late posting your fave purchases (and clicks) this month, but better late than never! 🙂 Ramin Ganeshram’s ode to local cuisine “Sweet Hands” retains its top spot yet again! You would think that with it’s obvious online popularity and appeal it would be easier to source locally. However, unfortunately that is not the case. Maybe this is because of the dominance of the Naparima Girls Cookbook, maybe it’s a local-born presumption that local cuisine doesn’t need literary promoting. Either way, I receive many requests on how to purchase this item locally and my best recommendation is to request it via Nigel Khan Booksellers. They are more than happy to source individual requests, and who knows, if enough people ask it may become a staple for their shelves 🙂
