Have you heard? @imos_k_foodtt recently opened in Long Circular Mall, bringing another exciting taste of Korean cuisine in Trinidad! As someone who has been passionate about sharing the flavors of Korea through my @kimchikallaloo project, I couldn’t wait to check it out.

So far, I’ve tried:
🥢 Beef Bibimbap – A comforting rice bowl with beautifully marinated beef and fresh, flavorful sides. The first time, I rated it a 7/10, but the second time? An easy 8.5!

🔥 Spicy Tuna Kimbap – Hands down, the best I’ve had locally! Perfect balance of crunch, spice, and fresh ingredients. A solid 10/10 in my book!

Korean food still isn’t as well known here as Chinese cuisine, but I hope to see that change with more options like this. IMO’s feels like Seoul food meets soul food, and I’m here for it!

Last week, I had a late breakfast with one of my best friends at the Bird + Palm Cafe located in @thenormandie.tt in St. Ann’s, and let me tell you - this EZ-Peezy Breakfast Special is the real deal!

For just $65, we were treated to:

✔️ Unlimited drinks (juices, teas, coffee)

✔️ Fresh fruit, cereal, muffins & strudels from the buffet

My friend went for fried bakes & pumpkin choka, while I opted for chicken sausage, an omelet, and 3 fluffy pancakes. And wow—every bite delivered!

LIME at the @hyatttrinidad is hands down one of my favorite Carnival events, and last year was no exception! ✨ From the moment I stepped into the venue, flute of Dacastello Prosecco in hand, I knew I was in for a night of indulgence, discovery, and pure culinary bliss.

The hardest part? Deciding what to eat first! Hyatt LIME is an ultra all-inclusive dream, featuring exquisite dishes from Hyatt Regency’s master chefs **plus** top local culinary talent. Imagine biting into a pillowy bao bun stuffed with spicy sriracha chicken, then savoring buttery teriyaki salmon, only to be completely **shook** by a deep, umami-packed oxtail ramen from @12byrishi_ramen! 😍🔥

💡 Pro Tip: Pace yourself! Every year, I think I can sample it all… trust me, I *cannot* (but I’ll keep trying).

Beyond the food, the all-white dress code with a “splash of lime” adds an elegant touch, and I love seeing how people interpret the theme! And let’s not forget the energy—people from all Trinidad & Tobago (indeed, the world!), united by their love of **great food, great music, and great company**.

Last week, I had the honor of attending the launch of *Cultura y Cocteles* at the Trinidad Hyatt! 🎉✨ Every Thursday night, this event brings together Latin culture, cocktails, and cuisine—perfect for food lovers who want to explore diverse flavors and master new culinary techniques! 🌮🍹

We enjoyed incredible performances from *Voces de Promesa* and learned about tequila from the Mexican Embassy. Did you know there are different types of tequila like Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo? My favorite was the Añejo—smooth, with hints of stone fruit. 🍑🍶

Featured embassies will rotate each week, and on the last Thursday of each month, *CALDATT* will bring the heat with Caribbean and Latin dance showcases! 💃🏽🕺🏾

Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or just starting to explore international cuisine, this event is a must. Grab your friends, try something new, and dive into the world of Latin culture and cocktails! 🍽️🌍
