An Evening At The Chef’s Table – Woodlands Inn, South Carolina, USA
Does anyone else here like to watch Michael Lomonaco on the Travel Channel’s Epicurious? Oh he’s such a delight! I adore him! 🙂 Well right now they’re showing old episodes with a very annoying female sidekick so I’ve stopped watching, but when it’s just him I definitely set aside time to see what’s up.
About two months ago he showcased the historic Woodlands Inn in South Carolina, USA. This upscale establishment offers a 9-course chef’s table inside the kitchen itself by reservation only. This allows diners the rare opportunity to see, firsthand, how their food is prepared. Having this privilege comes at a premium cost of course, and to be honest I’m not sure I’d want to pay extra to be around clanging pots and grease, but maybe the experience is much more serene than I am envisioning?
Anyways, I thought I’d share it with y’all, who knows, maybe someone reading this has experienced it (or will decide to) and can then provide a definitive yay or nay!
