This week I hosted the first “Eat Ah Food” episode of “Sweet Han’: Caribbean Cooking with Sarina”. Like my “Cookalong” episodes (the first of which was with Patrice Grell-Yursik a.k.a Afrobella), these episodes take us into the kitchens and pots of online notables (primarily of Caribbean origin/descent). However, where cookalongs feature a cook taking on one of -my- recipes, Eat Ah Foods will all be about a master cook sharing one of -their- specialties with us!
When I decided to name this installment “Eat Ah Food”, I knew immediately who my first cook had to be. QD Ross of Bring It To The Table (a.k.a Eat ah Food!). We met last year at Souk and I was beyond thrilled when he said yes! He chose as his recipe of choice “Trinidad Geera Chicken” which he’ll be accompanying with a non-dairy “Liquid Cheesecake” cocktail.
