I admit it, I am not much of a fan of the color blue. I can admire it from afar, but when it comes to my own purchase decisions and accessory choices it’s rarely a contender. That’s why I challenged myself to come up with a blue tablesetting that would get -me- excited for the 6th episode of Sweet Han’: Caribbean Cooking with Sarina. The only problem, it turns out that I didn’t really have anything of note in blue. It was a complete blind spot in my collection! As there wasn’t any time to go all out I did what I could with what I had, using blue as my inspiration rather than my guide. The final result was much more whimsical than I expected, but one that I felt really allowed me to come up with something a little more left of where I normally would have headed. I liked it! Now I’m off to start gathering more items with and in shades of blue, so that I -can- tackle that blue challenge another time. But before I go, tell me is blue one of your go-to shades?
