Setting The Table: Cooking With Larry Fournillier (November 4, 2012)

For my Google+ cooking debut (see below) I decided to go with an all-white motif. Symbolizing new beginnings in many traditions I thought it would be a great way to kick my online video presence off with a bang! When creating a monochromatic motif, it’s important to combine a variety of materials and textures (as well as shades) to avoid a sterile or somber appearance. Flickering candlelight doesn’t hurt either! For my tablescape, I incorporated crystal, glass and silver highlights to enhance the light, ethereal feel.

To complete the feeling of tranquility I compiled an iTunes playlist of downtempo electronic music (link will open in iTunes).

The final verdict? A hearty thumbs up from composer/producer Navid Lancaster, who helped with behind the scenes logistics and will be the musical guest on my series’ debut on December 6th :)
