It’s with great pleasure that I’m announcing that I made my Google+ debut last week on the weekly Hangouts program “Learning To Cook Caribbean With Larry Fournillier”. Larry is a local Trinidadian chef and online media wizard. I’m also excited to state that starting December 6th I’ll also be hosting my own cooking series on Google+ Hangouts and HangoutNetworks.com titled “Sweet Han’: Caribbean Cooking With Sarina”. I’m already lining up guests and topics that I hope will keep you tuning in and entertained. More next month!     I am interested in vegan recipes, and would especially like to have Caribbean recipes which have been adapted to be vegan. My daughter-in-law is from Trinidad, and I would like to surprise her with some of her old treats, but vegan style. She loves macaroni pie…can it be made without the cheese and eggs?

      Dear Jean, thanks for dropping me a line. I am going to be presenting more and more recipes that have been adapted to the vegan lifestyle in the New Year. Until then you can see many of the recipes I currently have via the vegan category here – trinigourmet.com/index.php/category/vegan/

      Vegan macaroni pie is one of the recipes in Taymer Mason’s extremely excellent “Caribbean Vegan” cookook. I highly recommend it! :)
