KFC Bus Stand

KFC Sponsored Bus Stand, Churchill-Roosevelt Highway, outside Trincity Mall

I remember the mutual culture shock on an American’s friend face when I was living away and lamenting the fact that for such a First World country, how come KFC in the USA didn’t deliver?!? She apparently had never thought about it, and was quite surprised to learn that in Trinidad KFC delivery is par for the course. “That’s it!” she said, “I’m moving to Trinidad!”

“To have chicken delivered to your house?”

“Hells yeah!”

Hells yeah, indeed :)

*P.S. You’ll notice the standard syntax for KFC Delivery on the bucket; one’s area code followed by 0777*

It sad indeed. KFC experimented with delivery for a short time in the U.S. and may deliver still (in limited areas. I know because I use too work for KFC as a delivery driver as a struggling college student in the early 90′s. We had a very short window to deliver the chicken, so we had to be fast! They may have giving up on it because chicken is not as reheat as well as pizza :-) .

Ant – you may get too spoiled by it and not return lol :)

Kenny – I didn’t know about how they tested it there, very interesting! Here they used to say 30 minutes or free, but that silently disappeared

WHAT??? KFC delivers in Trinidad?? I am so SO JEALOUS because I love KFC but hate driving in traffic to get it. I would not even care if it was not as steaming hot when I got it because I would just be so grateful. Can’t they make this Caribbean-wide??
