Several months ago I was excited and surprised to be asked to join the Caribbean panel for The S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants survey. Of course I said yes! While at the Taste of T&T 2007, I was approached by a Tourism guide who was polling attendees. While sharing my thoughts on the event (which will be posted by the end of the week, G-d willing) we got to talking about local food. Ariapita Avenue is the main culinary artery for dining in and around Port-of-Spain and it really is amazing how many restaurants it seems able to contain!
